Fix a menu import that looks incomplete
Improve PDF/photo reads and recover when the importer misses a column, page, or dish.
1
Check the source quality
Use the original PDF when possible. For photos, retake the page in bright, even light with the text in focus and the entire page visible.
2
Upload pages separately when needed
A long menu or dense two-column page is easier to read when each page or menu is uploaded clearly and labeled correctly.
3
Compare the item count
Before confirming allergens, compare the imported sections and dish names with the printed source. Add a missed dish manually if needed.
4
Retry with a cleaner file
If the importer returns an incomplete response or times out, retry once with a shorter, clearer source. You can always edit the resulting menu manually.
